Honda
Motor Company is one of the leading automobile and motorcycle
manufacturer in the world. Besides making automobiles and
motorcycles, Honda also makes equipments
such as power generators, lawn mowers, ATV’s. Honda
has its facilities all around the world with its headquarters
based in Tokyo.
The Honda Corporation is named after its founder Soichiro
Honda. He founded the Honda Motor Company
in 1948 and began by making motorcycles. He managed to double
the horsepower of the conventional 4-storke engine and he
was ahead of his competitors for about 20 years. Honda
finally entered in the US in 1959 and began selling motorcycles.
Later in the 60’s and 70’s Honda began producing
its first automobiles and trucks in the US. Today Honda
remains one of the leading names in automobile industry.
