Bluetooth
is a wireless standard for connecting portable devices
such as mobile telephones. Bluetooth technology
allows drivers to use hands-free car kits. Thanks
to handsfree car phones, driving is much safer and
simpler. The Bluetooth specification
was developed and is promoted by a group of companies
including Ericsson,
IBM, Intel, Microsoft, Motorola, Nokia, and Toshiba with
the goal of fostering connectivity between mobile
electronic
devices.
Unfortunately, not all phones are compatible with Bluetooth.
This happens because of differences in the quality
of the
handsets and Bluetooth chip programming, not all Bluetooth handsets
will have the same performance when interfacing with
the Bluetooth chip in our vehicles.
