The
Honda vehicle identification is printed
on a certified label that is located on the driver’s
side doorjamb. You may also find the Honda identification
number on the lower dashboard, closest to the windshield
on the driver’s side.
There are vehicle identification numbers stickers on major
body parts of the vehicle. This is prevention in case a
body part was taken; it will help narrow down the recovery
of the part. You can find further information in your Honda
owner’s manual under Theft Prevention Labels.
The engine identification number is stamped
on the engine itself. Since the location of the number varies,
look in your owner’s manual for reference to where
a relative location of the number would be.
